PII video redaction
PII video redaction is the compliance officer’s noun: not “a blur app,” but a list of personal identifiers that must not survive a disclosure file. Do not confuse detection with a legal determination
A detector does not know your exemption. Operators apply policy. Export is irreversible, which is what you want for a release copy; keep the original in the system of record. Processing location: offline video redaction.

- Does PII video redaction auto-find every identifier?
- No. Faces and license plates have on-device auto-detect plus manual boxes. Other PII (badges, screens, paperwork) is operator-marked. Audio is manual time ranges only — no speech recognition.
- Is PII the same as GDPR or FOIA?
